Third Bishop of The Catholic Diocese of Issele-Uku "Non Confundantur Super Me Qui Quaerunt Te Deus" ("O God, do not allow those who seek yuo to be brought to dishonour because of me" Ps 69:6) The Logo summarises the task of the Diocese of Issele-Uku to bring the message of Jesus Christ to the people through evangelization and education based on the scripture and on-going tradition of the Church. The Dove symbolizes the Holy Spirit, our strength and comforter in the Diocese. The Open Book is the Holy Bible, which is the food of salvation for the people. The Crosier is the symbol of the Good Shepherd. St. Michael the Archangel symbolizes the protector and guide, both for the Bishop as a person and for the Diocese as a whole. The area marked with blue colour symbolizes our Blessed Mother Mary, the Mother of the Good Shepherd and our Mother. The hat symbolizes the helmet of salvation. The 12 knots of the cord represent the 12 Apostles.
